This is a alternative to flying and for those that want something a little different for the school holidays. For those that don't enjoy flying and are local to Newcastle this doesn't seem a bad deal for £749 per person averaged out for 15 nights when you consider that the food is likely to be much better than any AI resort and there are kids clubs and entertainment etc. It's an inside cabin for 2 adults and 2 children, the itinerary looks pretty decent and they have plenty of entertainment for kids onboard.
You can add the AI drinks package on for £10pp per day which doesn't seem half bad but if you aren't a drinker then you still get tea and coffee etc included. You can book the package with drinks at the time of booking by selecting the Anchor package with drinks (best to do it then rather than add it on later so you get more cashback).
There is also 12% cashback which, if tracks is a nice £350+ back, not too bad at all!!

I've done this cruise with the family from Newcastle before. It's brilliant.

What is the age limit for 'children' pricing?

I tried to find this out but couldn't see it anywhere, you have to literally go through the booking process to see the final price entering every passengers date of birth! I used fake details and ages 8 and 9 so you may have to enter your info to see the final price.

I'd check but I think the price was for the extra 2 bunks not the age of the occupant.

I actually think children are between 2 and 17 yrs old! I just tried it with a 16 and 17 yr old and it was the same price :smirk:

Nice one - that'll be very popular with my surly teens.

Yeah I think it's a good option for teens and the AI option seems good value for £10.

I've gone in twice now but can't replicate your price - it's coming out around £4,500 for me... :disappointed:
