I re-watched with my partner who had never seen it, when it fades to black at the end, I stopped it. she thought it was brilliant. shes never seen 'the final scene', don't want to spoil it for her.

I didn't mind the last few seasons. Sure, the first four were better, but they weren't awful.

I finished season 7. I saw the borderline hatred that season 8 got. I've not bothered since.
Honestly this is a great show and seasons 1-4 are fantastic.

If you have got to season 7 I would definitely still watch season 8 though even though the ending is poor.

Season 8 was terrible from the start. Maybe if I could expunge it from my memory I would have more respect for the show, but for me Season 8 tainted the legacy for me.A shame, because Season 4 was probably the best season of television I have ever seen
