Denon are a decent brand, Onkyo are cheap chinese rubbish though. Personally I'd look for a Sony, premium quality.!
Superfi had the X2200 rigged up to some power amplifiers in the theatre they built at Gadget Show Live a couple of months ago for Atmos demonstration. Personally I am not interested in Atmos, but a fantastic price for anyone wanting to 'future proof' and a great price for a mid-range receiver regardless, interested or not in Atmos/DTS:X, if I wasn't already more than happy with my Pioneer VSX-924 I would be all over this.

I bought this a few weeks back at £329. slightly peeved, but highly recommended. having all the ports HDCP 2.2 enabled as opposed to just *some* is a clear point of distinction between this and the competition.
excellent value for money. it's just a shame the promo is in store or telesale only.

Still can't decide on this or the Onkyo TXNR646. Though on Richer Sounds I note the Denon has rather more disappointed reviews complaining of bugs and faulty units compared to the Onkyo. 4.5/5 stars and 90% recommended by buyers, compared to 4.8/5 and 98% recommended for the Onkyo.

Richer are very good with their returns. Just audition the Denon at home, give it a good blast to check that everything works, and if you don't like it just return it for the Onkyo.
