Still played loads, never short of dedicated servers with low ping. This is what my server list looks like - considering screenshot was taken at midnight GMT.
I'd say the premium is worthwhile, but it doesn't really change the gameplay at all so it's worth missing if you just wanna spend a few quid on the base game

I can't believe anyone remotely interested in shooters hasn't got this yet. But if you haven't, get it now! Amazing price for an amazing game. Hot.

I'm surprised they don't just give the base game away, and then price the DLC to recoop the cost instead of doing it the other way around and giving the DLC out free.
Tempted, loved the trial but moved on to other things now. Still hot.

Personally, I loath this game but do enjoy Battlefield 3 .
