Your Anker cube speaker needs something to drive it, you need to connect it to a tablet or computer or an audio device with an AUX out. For someone who needs a basic device that plays CDs and allows you to listen to FM radio, AND WHO HAS A RESTRICTED BUDGET OF £10, this is definitely a deal.
What's the point of making absolute comparisons on deals without taking the price point into account? What's landfill to you - a statement based on a relatively high income/ net worth if I may assume so - could be a perfectly acceptable product to a student or OAP with a restricted income. Everyone knows that a Ferrari is a better car in every way compared to an Astra, but for millions of us an Astra is all we can afford and is fit for purpose.
If you can find a cheaper deal for a superior system that plays back CD's and includes a radio, why not post it? The community will be grateful.

Even my Anker cube speaker has more power - and probably better sound - than this POS!.
(I hate this kind of cheap/nasty tech. It just ends up in landfill. Complete waste of materials - and money)
