In what way? These are used for just about every TV with Freeview/Freeview HD in.

They're not obsolete. Most new TVs have built in Freeview/Freeview HD built in and require a signal from your TV aerial. If that was the case, most people would get rid of the TV aerials on their rooftops.
An HDMI cable doesn't transfer signal from an aerial or satellite dish to your TV. Do you have an HDMI cable coming from your Sky dish or VM outlet?

You should really be using digital cable like HDMI to carry that digital signal.

Just reserved a number of different items (low volumes) and received a call from my local Homebase to advise items are not in stock, despite showing as in stock online. Good deal if you can get hold of these.
