Amazes me what people will do to save £10. It would take at least £50 for me to drive to a store, buy the cam, drive to the next, swap boxes etc. Overall it will take what, an hour? And you've saved £10! I couldn't imagine anything less appealing.

I wish folk who haven't a clue what they're talking about, would refrain from posting rubbish on here.
I've got 2 of these and both are rock solid on the windscreens. Having previously had 2 other makes, this is easily the best dashcam at the price.
Something you need to watch though, some suppliers are doing the one with a sticky pad mount, the Argos one comes with the better suction mount.

its not the suction cup thats the issue, its the ball connectors the cheaper ones don't hold very tight.

I was tempted to hit the buy button, but it seems it doesn't retain the date/time according to many Amazon reviews. Anyone know if this is still a valid problem or if video is still submissible as evidence without this?

Bought mine off of amazon a few years back. Only time it has forgotten the date so far is when I go on holiday for 2 weeks. Other than that it has always been OK.
