Is there a dedicated counter for the take away coffee or do you have to stand at the bar at 0830 with the alchies ordering their first pint of the day?

Not if you want to drink it in the cafe, but: "The change will not affect customers wanting to take away a free hot drink from the cafes, or from the company’s supermarkets"

Says so much about the mugs (excuse the pun) some are these days that a 99p take away coffee is even considered a deal :disappointed:

Compared to...
McDonalds £1.89
Starbucks £2.29
Wild Bean £2.29
...99p is a good deal but sadly no Wetherspoons on my way into work. Those above are only options to buy and it still be warm by the time I get to the office (unless I buy a Thermos and take in).

I got a coffee from McDonald's the other day and I'm sure it was £1.29.
Obviously this is still cheaper so voted hot. Will have to give the coffee a try and see if it's any good.

Greggs £2 for a bacon & sausage Bap with a hot drink.

Starbucks is £1 for a comparable coffee, and has been for some time..... However. If you use one of their reusable beakers (£1) then you get 25p off each time and a grande instead of small (as long as you add milk at the counter rather than the till).......a far better deal in my opinion.

Is it though? Is facebook, whatsapp and twitter free to use too?
Waitrose are swapping your pesonal details, spending habits, geolocation, etc for a cheap coffee or tea. I dont have anything to hide but would rather not be tracked by companies for a cheap return.
