I do not work for Sony, but have been following this model closely. Here is what I believe is meant by 'HDR Light'.
The X850-Series have the new firmware which makes these sets HDR compliant. They can play HDR content with the correct colour-range but lack the brightness/contrast of the 2016 range that are "Full HDR".
The contrast on these sets is around 3-400 nits compared to around 1000 nits on the 2016 models.
So yes, they will play HDR (very well actually) but not quite as good as the newer models which look brighter which in turn will make the colours more vibrant.

Enter 50TVS for £50off online so you should change the title price.

Excellent tv, I paid £599 for a refurbished set back in March. At the minute Sony are selling refurbs for £649 however this deal could work out cheaper.

Does anyone know if this is available at a similar price from somewhere that accepts PayPal? Want to use my interest free credit and pay over 4 instalments!

Contact them via ebay and tell them there price vs web site price and they should change it. I only say this because it did it before when there was a lower price on the web site and a higher price on ebay page so contacted them and they changed it.
Edit:
Just noticed they did reduce the price since this morning but its £850 so tell them about the clearly visable voucher on the web site
