They reduced the tea in the bags but kept the price the same, said it didn't make a difference.....just to their profits.

Funny you should say that, coz I got a deal on them from ICELAND, where as I've used Ty-phoo fer years (Poundland)
The 1st few cups of PG Tips did taste strange, but it's ALL fine now. Could it simply be a tastebuds thing do yer think?

agreed. just not the same, I think they use a poorer quality tea when they put them on offer.

prefer Yorkshire tea but at a pound for 160 have heat :-)
at least they don't taste as bad as Tetley ....yukk

Wife bought some last week.I told her don't ever buy them again takes 2 teabags to make a decent cuppa.They reduced the tea in the teabags last year.

the assam tea also known as strong I think.... just as weak... I like my builders tea nice and strong.... even 2 tea bags of that just about makes a good cuppa now

Wth the old bags I used to stew the tea if I left them brewing for 4 mins, with the latest bags I can leave the brewing for 5 mins and not stew the tea. Definitely not as strong as before :disappointed:
