Been on the lookout for one of these and this is the best price so far, lower than the previous best I could find from Amazon a few weeks back here:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lumia-950-sim-free-black-direct-from-amazon-for-343-2427748
When it was listed at £343.
I believe there is also a possibility of a £50 voucher for MS store too with referral, but I don't know if that's still on.
For me, I'd refer this smaller phone than the XL, and the 808(state) processor is easily enough!
Windows 10 now in a FAR better state than it was when it was 'released' *cough*.
Free delivery too.
No doubt there will be some voting cold on a Lumia deal, but I think this is the price for me to hit buy and replace my 930 :)

Depends what your needs are.
I went from a 930 (battery life getting short as it ages...) and went android with a mega battery. Apps were nice, but couldn't get on with android... Simply not as 'just works' as Windows for me.
Returned it to Amazon, now buying this.

I've got this phone and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Camera is excellent, but the apps are buggy and few and far between. Really regretted not going Android. Just my 2 pence.

Ive owned each generation of windows phone but i wont be getting another, MS have given up on them. Windows10 isn't ready and MS are prioritizing their apps for ios and android.

Some useful ones might be nice though, instead of Microsoft getting rid of enticing ones that Nokia developed.

sold mine and bought the S7 edge and its been a while since ive been android having owened several lumias, but have to agree, love the look of the windows OS but man the apps on android and jsut the overal build is so much better on the Edge. Spent the last few months changing the missus and kids from windows to android without too much fuss either.

I have a 735 and I'm really happy now I've updated it to windows 10. It's so slick as I found windows phone 8.1 was getting a bit laggy.

its gonna get a shed load cheaper .. in the states you get a 950 FREE when u buy 950XL ... Shame its moved on so little in functionality/app gap since Window Phone 7 as as a UI its far superior to Android/IOS :-( ... finally drove me to a Galaxy S6 not really the app gap just got sick of its massive lead in Camera quality going to a lag behind flagship Android.. thats the Cloud Cuckoos in Redmond 4 u :-(

Won't get much cheaper this year, this is the land of people who think £199 for a Nintendo Wii u and one game in mid 2016 is a good deal.

Does anyne here know how the referral thing works to get the voucher? I'd like to know before I pull the trigger on buying this, don't want to pass up £50!

As a deal, this is the best price I've seen from a reputable seller. As a phone, the hardware is great. Not premium but great. The OS, however, is sadly woeful. I had two of these in quick succession and both went back because of the buggy software. Heat for the price but otherwise cold.

For me, I'm a happy Win10 user already. I've been holding out for a near 300 quid price from a reputable place, IN CASE I get a duffer... but I do like Win10, and the bugs seem to be getting fixed pretty quickly IMO, it's moved on a LOT in the last weeks alone...

Can it sync favourites with desktop yet? Or with IE should I say...
I hope it goes under 300 soon. Only thing holding me back is reports of poor battery life (major), and I'd miss double tap to wake (minor).

Double tap to wake is a hardware feature, and is apparently already being worked on for the 950's (hinted at by MS WM guy).
And from my own reading the poor battery life figures were from initial release phones with their 'release' OS. Most of what I've read now say the battery issues are sorted. For my comparison, I've seen reviews comparing directly with the 930 which is what I've got and it says a noticeable improvement over those, so that's good enough for me!
And yes, it can sync favourites with (Win10) desktop, but only on edge, not IE.
