I own one of these, can't knock it. For the price these are one of the best around for this capacity.

I got one, put it next to my fridge, every time I wash up I grin, thinking at what I have, you'll always find me washing up now, so consequently I have enough cups, plates and bowls ready, quite an experience I can tell you.

you would need an enclosure for it but it should be fine for that.

Hynix is one of the largest manufacturers of RAM in the world, they do a mix of oem and own brand stuff. I'd buy this without hesitation.

When I checked the internal memory on my Samsung phone, I found it was made by Hynix! lol

Cracking price for 250gig!
Ssd technology is mature enough these days to I think so that one does not need to pay the premium for higher end models and brands like Samsung or Intel

Think I'd rather pay the extra £1.30 or so for the Crucial BX200 from Amazon tbh

Great drive. I can't tell any difference between my two Samsung EVOs and this one.

Thanks OP, Heat added. I have been dithering about upgrading my WIN10 laptop to a SSD , at this price / spec it had to be done. Just need to figure out the best way to do the migration. Also purchased a SATA - USB enclosure so have a method to get the WIN 10 onto the SSD, and still be left with the HDD with WIN 10 on as a fall back in case the migration goes pear shaped. Eeek !

Looking for a cheap upgrade to my old Corsair Force 3 (120GB). Will this be faster? Or should I look at spending more?
