Considering purchasing this router for replacing my current Sky router, my Sky router is absolutely rubbish and intermittently cuts out when uploading things.
Seems to be quite a good price for this ASUS router as compared to other stores/shops.
Few notable features:
- Parental controls lets you enable/disable Internet access during specific times...
- Set the bandwidth priority and manage the network traffic with QOS software
- Flexible dual-band lag-free entertainment
- 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
- Ai Radar Optimized
- Torrent Manager
- DUAL Band

Yeah Sky router is pants. I heard that they are soon to upgrade to a new model which is used for Sky Q but not sure they'll hand those out to existing users

This will NOT replace a Sky router. You will need an ADSL router. This is for cable connections (not sure about Sky Fibre but I believe they use the same kit).
There is a Reevoo question at the bottom of the page specifically asking whether this will replace a Sky router.

With Sky you need a separate modem whether it's ADSL or fibre, however, you can use the Sky router to do that job, turn off wifi etc, connect this router directly to it and let it do all your LAN tasks. Little bit more to it than that re settings on your Sky router but Google will show you dozens of guides to do that.

whatever you do you will still need to use the sky router/modem, then disable wifi and hard wire a repeater/extender to it and use the wifi from that instead
