I think Aldi has had a very similar one on sale resently for a similar price.
Just thought it might be worth mentioning as Aldi give 3 years warranty.

these are great! I think ours is slightly larger from amazon, they last about 5 years then you buy another as you cant live without them (well you could but you know).
I have this, works great. although the last five seconds are VERY LOUD.

Does it 'boil' the water though? I had one (breville I think it was), and in my opinion, it didnt make the water hot enough for tea.
