Yep I've got a 230mm Dewalt soft start too, but that's a different tool for different jobs. No good for small cutting or finishing, far too big and ferocious. :confused:

lidl have got them in now £35 for 230mm with 3 year warranty might not be a professional one but used it at weekend was great for making a new side doorway in my garage.

Use this regularly, it's great for the price but I find the lock on button a bit awkward to catch sometime.
I've never felt the 600W was lacking in power for any job it's done.

I would have bought this over the Bosch 720w version if it had been this price a year ago, don't regret paying £50 for the 720w as I think that has a smaller body making it easier to hold for long periods.
