those types of chargers are excellent for monitoring how much capacity your batteries have, and spotting duff cells !

I was recommended the Technoline BL-700 which has been an excellent charger. It looks very similar to this one and retails at £29.99 so this looks like a bit of a bargain! Heat.

I'd personally go for the Xtar VC4 (which I have) which intelligently charges Li-ion cells as well as Ni-Mh. Cost me £22 or so and the small premium over this charger is well worth it considering (a) the Xtar is very highly rated and regarded and (b) it gives Li-ion option should you choose it for the future. I've heated this deal nonetheless.

Cheers I bought one to replace a 8 year old Aldi charger that is still going strong. The link from MichaelLi looks more like the deal model although this doesn't charge Li-ion batteries, which I don't have anyway. Are they going to be the next step forward in batteries?

I'm not sure what your comment means but if you a quoting this Maha MH-C9000 being better value. the bet price I could find was 3x the deal price.
