2kg of fresh chicken breasts for £10 - cheaper than Aldi and Lidl who are both selling 1kg for £5.59. Seems like a standard price rather than a temporary offer.

They're expensive because they're 100% edible meat. No gristle, no fat, no prep. And erm, you could always season them. But I completely disagree that they are tasteless. Each to their own I suppose.

Good deal if you only want 2kg but worth checking your local butcher as mine does 5kg for £25 or 10kg for £40 and it's much nicer. Only any good if you want to buy bulk though, voted hot as this will be good for some

Personally I prefer breast to thigh, not a huge fan of dark meat and there is also less fat in a chicken breast.
