It's a great place to buy, but the eBay+PayPal tax is a hefty price to pay for sellers.
check your selling manager page as well. I didn't receive an email but there was an offer in my selling manager although it was for £3 maximum fee, shame it wasn't £1

from my experience it seems to relate to sales volume (and probably the other things in you seller dashboard, but mine have always been fairly good). There's probably a little bit of a behavioural aspect too; eg if you usually sell nothing and suddenly sell 10 items for £100 in a month you might get a better offer than someone who normally sells 100/£2000 doing 10/£100. its possible for the max fees they consider your typical per item sale value too?
It would be nice if those getting good offers would share why they think so based on their stats. I got the £3 offer and have sold mar:£147,apr:80,may: £40, with typical amount ~£30. when i had a couple of months at £300 and £500 they were throwing offers at me.
if your a customer of Ebay then they should ook after you.. not just a handful. Join the army that are leaving Ebay and cancel your account

I'd rather stick with Ebay thanks. There's no better place to sell your stuff, especially when offers like these come around every month. There's no better place to buy either.
