Then play it and enjoy it. Other people disliking it is in no way holding you or your enjoyment of it back. I've played tons of under-appreciated / widely hated games. Didn't care what others thought, my opinion is the only one that matters to me.

Sad this title was unappreciated at launch, the self-proclaimed 'hardcore' seeing it beneath them - foolishly. When did gaming become only good if greyish and ultra difficult? God forbid some of us may want some enjoyment.

Wii u discs and / or the laser reader are extremely finicky. Storing most of my collection in a CD wallet rendered most of them unreadable. No visible marks on them. Cleaning them with a kit from a pound shop fixed a lot of them but I had to take a few down to GAME to get them re-surfaced. It's £3.99 per disc but they have a offer on (which may or may not still be active) of 3 disc repairs for £5.
Wii U discs are very, very fragile so keep them in cases at all times I would say.

I don't class myself as an elitist gamer but I just feel this is a poorly put together collection of half-baked ideas, and the "host" is nothing but annoying. I like the pikmin game and the Donkey Kong one is really clever but sadly lacks depth and replayability. The other games were either fun for 5 mins or didn't do anything for me. I think if Nintendo has got this collection right we would be looking at a much more popular Wii U.
Despite my opinion I've voted this hot because it's a good price for what it's becoming a hard game to find.

true, my kids were only playing the mario bros, 3d world, kart etc but when they tried this, they wouldn't play anything else until the disc stopped working.

There are about 4 good 3-5 player multi-player games on this game that are well worth the price.
Quite common for my mates to crack this out for a bit of fun on a Friday night.
There is one game that's like hide and seek where 1 player uses the Wii U pad screen to hide and the rest have to chase and catch him on the TV.
