Then play it and enjoy it. Other people disliking it is in no way holding you or your enjoyment of it back. I've played tons of under-appreciated / widely hated games. Didn't care what others thought, my opinion is the only one that matters to me.

Sad this title was unappreciated at launch, the self-proclaimed 'hardcore' seeing it beneath them - foolishly. When did gaming become only good if greyish and ultra difficult? God forbid some of us may want some enjoyment.

Wii u discs and / or the laser reader are extremely finicky. Storing most of my collection in a CD wallet rendered most of them unreadable. No visible marks on them. Cleaning them with a kit from a pound shop fixed a lot of them but I had to take a few down to GAME to get them re-surfaced. It's £3.99 per disc but they have a offer on (which may or may not still be active) of 3 disc repairs for £5.
Wii U discs are very, very fragile so keep them in cases at all times I would say.

Game was under £5 at shopto around xmas 2014, deal posted on here. But sadly not at that price anymore. Personally never liked it, 20 minutes of play then placed in a drawer never to come out again.

As someone who enjoys the game, I do feel paully's assessment is a very fair and accurate one. I wouldn't play this game on my own. It only comes to life multi-player. And then its only the 2 games we play in my house, the Luigis Mansion hide and seek or whatever its called, and the Mario Chase. Both are excellent with other players and great fun. But having to faff around a stupid theme park with daft graphics, and the vehicle for accessing the games etc, it is just nonsense.
It does feel a bit of a half baked game, that went into production a bit early with some minimalist effort.
It is damn hot at this price though, and it is worth it for the 2 games mentioned.

This was pretty much just a showcase for how the controller could be utilized. Which I feel this achieves well. Mario chase and the Animal Crossing one are my favorites for when friends come round.

I don't class myself as an elitist gamer but I just feel this is a poorly put together collection of half-baked ideas, and the "host" is nothing but annoying. I like the pikmin game and the Donkey Kong one is really clever but sadly lacks depth and replayability. The other games were either fun for 5 mins or didn't do anything for me. I think if Nintendo has got this collection right we would be looking at a much more popular Wii U.
Despite my opinion I've voted this hot because it's a good price for what it's becoming a hard game to find.

The multiplayer games on this are great. Remember the first time I played Mario Chase and realised why the gamepad is so good! So funny when there's more of you diving around trying to catch the Mario! Ghost game is a good laugh too, Sweet one also fun. Single player games are ok, but with games like this its all about the fun multiplayer. Worth buying for sure.

There are about 4 good 3-5 player multi-player games on this game that are well worth the price.
Quite common for my mates to crack this out for a bit of fun on a Friday night.
There is one game that's like hide and seek where 1 player uses the Wii U pad screen to hide and the rest have to chase and catch him on the TV.

true, my kids were only playing the mario bros, 3d world, kart etc but when they tried this, they wouldn't play anything else until the disc stopped working.
