anyone know if this works with the first edition ipod touch? I bought the more expensive irig and that would not work with my edition ipod :disappointed:

It probably will as it uses the headphone jack- I take it you have the one that plugs into the Lightning connector.?

It does work (badly) with Android. The AmpliTube app from IK Multimedia is restrictive, requires registration and in-app purchases to be worthwhile. Alternative apps like Andrig Guitar Amp and Guitar effects give more free content, but doesn't look as nice. Still has an annoying delay.
