For £200 - £400 Tissot make some of the best watches out there (unless you need something like a G-Shock for similar money)

I've got a G-shock and paid less than £100 for it!

Yes, but I meant a higher end G-Shock like a Rangeman or one from the Aviator range.

I got my Rangeman for £140 brand new (Olive Drab Green) - Absolute beast of a watch. It's my primary work watch which takes a beating on a daily basis and still keeps giving. I also have a Mudmaster GWG1000 in Green which I got for £270 brand new, its a big too large for work so I wear it casually.
I have an Aviator GW3000 too but since I got my Mudmaster and Rangeman, I hardly wear it. I've started to prefer resin watches over metal ones since those purchases, hence the GW3000 being neglected.
G-shocks are the best value for money watches out there by a long shot.

I have this watch, this colour. I can 100% recommend it, I got it from Goldsmiths a few months ago for the £215 original sale price, worth every penny. It oozes quality, and it's held its condition extremely well!

Men's watches are like ladies bags - you can never have too many - each day a different watch ! I've got about 10 - ranging from a few £10 Casios for gardening to a much more expensive Breitling for well when I need to look much more expensive ! Never been a Tissot fan - my favourite is actually a Mondaine - the Swiss rail watch - sadly not the one with the party trick of stopping for a minute on the hour ! Nearly bought the Citizen one at £200 couple of days ago but the dials tend to be a bit fussy. Oh and I love my Wenger - bit like the Mondaine but black ! So what's the problem - my wife has way over 10 bags ..... anyway this is a good price for a Tissot but not for me

Interesting analogy but I beg to differ, started with a citizen and after many years(and watches)I came to a conclusion:it's all relative.
