Used to always use home delivery, until the carrier bag charge came in! They were bad enough before at putting 1/2 items in some bags but then when the charge started everything came 1 item per bag! Even though id asked for no bags to be used! And still got charged for all the bags used! Haven't used them since!

Never really been interested in home shopping, but this sort of thing puts me off, along with the chances of getting dented tins or manky veg. Charging excessively for something they never charged for before, or don't HAVE TO charge for, really has got tesco written all over it!

If you specified "no bags" and it came with bags, call them and the bags charges will be removed. No problem.

Max is 40p charge with any supermarket and they give you as many bags required. And you can choose if you want your shopping with bags 40p or without them for free.

They have to give good enough veg/fruit and can refuse what you dont like the look of. To be fair the fruit and veg and fresh bread i ordered was all in good condition! I only used it when heavily pregnant and had a 2 year old so was ALOT easier
