Plenty of non mainstream customers, like pretty much anything. I use them for archiving things like photos, family movies as a backup to cloud or hard drive based devices since if they die you have no other backup.
Or if I want to take somethings to a friends house I can burn to disc and take that disc instead of a whole hard drive.
Also good for projects, that being said I prefer RW so I can reuse them later.
So in short theres a lot of people who still use them just not mainstream users.

Well, I still use these all the time and just got a couple of packs to keep me going. Was about to post the deal too. Glad I checked first. Absolute steal at £1.25. Have some heat, OnlyMee.
Regards, Phsy.

I'd get through 200 discs a week 7-8 years ago.
Haven't burnt one in about a year. Everything is NAS, USB stick or in the cloud.
Great price though for those that need them.

I have given heat because 25 of anything for £1.25 seems to be a good deal but what ARE these strange shiny things?

They make good bird scarers. Make a hole near the edge, attach a length of thread and hang in garden, they spin in the breeze and reflect any sunlight like a spinning light beam.

Have you not noticed the vinyl revolution?
Even Sainsbury's now have a section that sell VINYL!
I'm into it, almost as bad as back in the 60s 70s.
I have quite a few friends in the business, and guess what the next big thing they are telling me it will be....?
CASSETTES!
