Bad system i'm afraid. If you are wanting to link your phone or tablet to the system to view your cameras live you will have to download an app, unfortunately the app stopped working some months ago and Swann haven't contracted the company that built the app to fix the issue so you cannot connect to remote view. I now have a very expensive camera system that I bought purposefully for its remote viewing capabilities and Swann have stopped supporting the app. Cold from me, sorry.

Hi georgefun85, have you got a link please? There's nothing available called 'swann hd wifi security system alarm'
Looks good for a diy easy install although I don't know much about them and have a wired burglar alarm, does it have an outside bell box? What's the red box ? Is that it?

The 'red' box is the internal siren.

Normal price seems to be around £190 so not quite the bargain implied by the screwfix rrp
Must admit its a bit of a bargain considering what you're getting. Looking at a couple of reviews it seems the cameras can connect to the DVR directly without using your home wifi. Similar generic Chinese kits with just the cameras go for around £200.
