I got my Note 4 on LAUNCH DAY on a very similar deal to this back in Nov 2014, from mobiles.co.uk. Anyone calling this a scam is an idiot, in the last 4/5 years I've had at least 5 contracts from mobiles.co.uk, it is all legit. Phones have always been unlocked.
Anyway on to this deal. As soon as I saw it I knew from experience it wouldn't last long, I ordered 2! One in black for myself and a gold for the missus. Both orders went through and both phones have been dispatched due for a Monday delivery. Thanks OP for finding this, I knew it was just a matter of time before an offer like this popped up. Now don't ask me how mobiles.co.uk manage to do it because they have consistently been having these offers on the very latest handsets for the past few years!

I already have an o2 number can I transfer it to this phone
this deal works on both black and gold on O2 with new contracts only so good deals. Not so good for me with upgrade as price jumps to £169.99 and code doesnt work. Shame about that. Maybe I should cancel my o2 contract and take my number to new phone on o2 to save money....is that possible???

Should be fine, see my comment above that has the link to swapping your old number onto a new contract.

Anybody knows if going through mobiles.co.uk you can benefit from o2 refresh?
Just preordered the lg g5 direct from o2 and it ends up at the same cost, same plan...

No you only get O2 Refresh with O2 directly.

I believe you can get O2 to link it to their account system which converts it to a refresh tariff. I did that a couple of years ago so I could pay off the phone early. Worth calling them up to be sure

This is actually a very good price, as its about a £15 sim-only contract, making the phone £396 spread over 2 years.
Shame there isnt any quidco
