In what sense? If you're referring to switching, there's nothing wrong with the Windows Phone Series.
Maybe he got it as a temp. replacement?

Do you have to pay min £10 top up too? Making it £49.99?

Not with O2. They force you to select a SIM with a pre-defined bundle, they don't force you to buy a top-up when purchasing the handset though, they expect you to purchase the top-up afterwards.
Note from O2's checkout page: "Your sim will be ready to use once you've added the right amount of credit, and you can switch from different tariffs without being tied down."

Lumia's are quite difficult to unlock, unless on the Vodafone network. Maybe check with your local phone shop to see if they can unlock them?

i got it as im getting married and saving up for a holiday so a phone is 3rd place lol
Am quite tempted to get this phone but my sim is currently a micro one and it needs to be a nano. I am with virgin, does anybody know if they could send me out a nano sim as a replacement for me? Don't fancy cutting it myself like people recommend online.

Think they can do in store but definitely can do over the phone. Oh and I'd avoid this phone like the plague. Most returned handset we see for software faults

Thanks. If I spoke over the phone they would be happy to just send a nano sim out with no charge then? No Virgin store in the town where I live. :disappointed:
Damn do you have any more info you could give in regards to returned handsets? Might be worth me spending a bit more for a 650 then as I can't quite decide between the two. Would love a 950 but can't justify the price.
