The game's plot focuses on Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. After having foreseen an approaching storm, Max must take on the responsibility to prevent it from destroying her town. The player's actions will adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshape it once allowed to travel back in time. Fetch quests and making environmental changes represent the forms of puzzle solving in addition to using branching choices for conversation.

Absolute bargain. Best game I played all of last year.
Great soundtrack, story, characters, artstyle and what not.
Around 15 hours to play through as well, no brainer for under £10.

Given the plethora of different real-life complexities that are touched upon by this game, many of them not comparably seen in interactive media, I can't really believe you engaged with this game. Spoiler Alert Depression, PTSD, suicide, schizophrenia, euthanasia, manslaughter and murder to name just a few... don't see how you can say the story is cliché. If you've seen even a selection of these things in games before, point the way, I'd like to see those if you think they're done better than this.
And sure, the vaguely familiar teenage girls at the centre of it are cliché, but that's entirely the point. The blank canvas setting forgoes zombie apocalypse 'man is the real monster' to seamlessly show that real people can have real problems too.
Sorry but I just had to say something. If you think this is aimed at teenagers then I really wonder what kind of themes could be more mature than this...

Fantastic deal, I paid £16 for the boxed edition recently and got more than my money's worth. Heartily recommended for fans of story-based games.

Bought this when it was on offer on the XB1 after playing the demo. Its a brilliant and original game, one of the best I've played in a long time. If you like story driven games then you'll love this, closest comparison I can think of at present would be similar to the Telltale games i.e. Game of Thrones, Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead.
