They do a 27" version that weighs 7kg. Ideal for those boring commutes.

Sounds quite swish, but I dare say the glare and acoustics are awful in a metal office...

"unplug your HORIZON 2s and move it around your home without having to plug back in for up to three hours."
(Not 4 hours)
It would definitely have option of mains power, otherwise how would you charge it.

Yeah agreed, only weighs 2.5kg as well, far too light, I might lose it on the bus home.

Me too (3 x Samsung tablets (12."/10"/8"), an ageing original ASUS Transformer, 2 x Ainol 7" Novo Elfs, 4 Samsung mobiles phones (S2,S3,S5,Note4), Lenovo laptop, 3 desktops (2 retired) and probably some other stuff, yet I am still tempted and must resist. LOL
The one thing that puts me off thank gawd is the colour of the rear (silver or white?). If it was black, I'd have bitten despite it being quite old (2014?)

performance wise how would this handle everyday tasks? my wife would like an office area and think this would suit better than getting a tower, monitor etc...sort of covers all bases.

I don't think performance would be an issue for everyday tasks (I assume you mean spreadsheets, wp, email etc which would all be fine).
Then you could take it next door and play hockey!

for me I think k it would be tiring to use such a large touch screen on my lap, a laptop would be my choice at this size.

Does anyone still make 19" and larger laptops any more? Those things were monsters.

Seems cool, you're going to be annoyed when you drop it though.
