Wonder if a lot of the heat is down to people thinking it's the full HD 2GB tablet.

Almost 2 years old. Serious question? Wouldn't the Bush MyTablet 10 be a better choice as it has almost identical specs and a later CPU?
£12 cheaper also. I know Lenova is a brand but...?

No HDMI out is a deal breaker on this.

The specs aren't great but if you need a screen so big, there isn't much choice out there. Good price. Not Hot or Cold for me. I wouldn't swap my LG v500 8.3" with double the specs and same cost for this.
Its amazing that one of the big names hasn't put out a 10" with 1080p display, SD800, 2GB Ram, SD Card slot and running Android 6 for around £150 or lower. Someone could make a killing.

Please can you advise where the LG v500 is available from at the same cost as this?

The Lenovo is a good tablet with ok spec. You wont go wrong if you buy it. Big screens are great for the kids but not very portable. Some good reviews too so check them out before you buy. Heat added
Steer well clear of the Bush My Tablet as suggested in the thread. The CNet review says it all.......The Bad. Appalling display; Poor build quality; Sluggish performance; Some annoying software quirks;.
