The disgrace is those who claim them on prescription rather than paying 20p-50p a pack

The product will be identical in all shops, you'll get 200mg of Ibuprofen in each tablet. Its not like hot cross buns where different shops use different recipes. They will also be the identical product as the brand names that cost £2 a packet.

I think 2 packs is the most shops are legally allowed to sell in one transaction. I'm sure pound shops would happily sell them at 4 for a pound and still make money, but they have to choose between either selling them at 2 for a pound or not selling them at all. If I was stuck with a nasty headache, I'd pay a quid for 2 packs over going without!

thats the poundland way of making you think its a deal e.g. 3 x paracetamol packs only £1 yet only 19p per pack in other places.

they are 2 for a pound in the pound shop and always 20p in home bargains so not really a deal if they are just normal priced !!

Cheapest around so I think it's fair to say it's a deal!

Thanks carmelina, great price. It's a disgrace that they are 2 for £1 in the pound shop. I always check Savers as well as they're usually cheaper than the pound shop too.

Not the safest drug for pain control for certain people with certain complaints. and certain ages...
I had nasal polyps removed last yeah, my surgeon told me the cause was possibly ibuprofen as I took them for years to manage a bad hip I have.

It's usually a similar price in Sainsburys in my experience. Definitely less than a pound anyhow
