Yours has a slower CPU (about 40% slower) but may have a better graphics capability, not that these are gaming laptops. But it has twice the disk size. If you have the cash I'd go for the Intel.

so begin the questions, sorry! - I want to use this for music and as such will be filling up the hard-drive. This has everything I want in a laptop, except the 1TB HD. Can people advise on ease of upgrade?
