Who manufactures the panel? - The panel is Hisense's own panel (native refresh is 60HZ (400Hz SMR) on this model and 8Bit FRC) - please bear in mind this is only an entry level 4K - if you need higher specs look at the K700
Is there more than one panel? - Some models may have slightly different panels but this does not apply to the 55k321
Is it good for gaming? - With the latest software input lag is measured at 50ms in game mode which is reasonable. For reference the 65k700 is 32ms
YouTube only buffers in HD - YouTube will buffer in 4K on the next update which will happen around May.
Does this model support HDR? - No (Although local playback support might be added in a future update but this will not have any impact on picture quality
Is the EC591 and K321 the same TV? - Yes they are exactly the same
Another Tip - HDMI ports 1 & 2 are HDMI 1.4a. Only ports 3 & 4 support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2
Hope this helps

If the BBC said it I'd believe the opposite!

Just to remind everyone the stuttering issues mentioned above do not affect this model. It is an issue that affects some other models but will be resolved in the next major update. These updates will be provided on our website as downloadable USB updates prior to the OTA release for those that desperately need them

I bought a 50 inch Hisense 6 months ago for £280 and it's been great. Smart features are rubbish but I use my PS4 for Amazon, YouTube etc. The picture quality is brilliant for the price and stands up well next to the LCD Sony I had previously.
