Absolute bargain Etihad flights May/June time to Lahore in Pakistan with a reputable airline too! I know there was quite a bit of debate about Pakistan flights last time but ideal for those visiting family etc. All around the same price on Fly Sharp, Travel Trolley.

As a tourist I think it's one of the last places on earth I would want to visit - good deal though if you have friends or family there.

Oh it's definitely not a tourist place, though the North of the country is magnificent, filled with stunning landscapes, welcoming indigents and centuries of culture. The passion for politics and real change across the land is hobbled by the lack of rigorous education for all but a select few.

I don't doubt that Pakistan has beautiful scenery but I wouldn't go there just like I wouldn't visit Kabul. Baghdad or Damascus at present - and why some idiots feel the need to play the race card I have no idea - some people seem to be determined to find racism and bigotry in every comment.
I have been lucky enough to have visited well over 50 countries around the world and have no problem with different cultures. - in fact I embrace them.

the issue isnt your personal opinion of not wanting to visit, its the incorrect perception you appear to have of lahore/pakistan, a place you have very likely never visited. to be fair lahore, islamabad (the mountainous muree/rawalpindi) are great places to visit as a tourist, karachi isnt too bad but does need local knowledge.
