My first time posting a deal - popped into Lidl in Belfast City Centre to get a few beers yesterday. They drop the price of Franziskaner wheat beer from £1.50 to 99p every now and again and it's back on.
It's lovely stuff, quite like Erdinger and Hoegarden but I prefer it to those two.
Not sure if it's national but the ticket made it look like it was.

Yeah, it's great. Bought too many which has left me hungover today. Nearly cried at a donkey charity ad on TV earlier. :confused:

There is no such thing as a "best" beer as it is all down to preference. IMHO Hoegaarden is better than this but still a fine tipple!

I used to think that about Hoegaarden till I started sampling a few others, and Edelweiss especially the stronger hefe in the green bottle is the governor :man: trust me I'm a lag boat so I know these things

There's a gluten free alcohol free version of this available and naturally it's cheaper, it's called Evian. I think it's quite apt if you say it backwards.

Hoegaarden and Leffe are my fave beers and I'm always on the lookout for any white beers that have a similar taste but not at a premium price, so I will definitely check this one out thanks.
