it seems so good but the flymo grass cutter is pants. a really small cutting area and you will need the strimmer as it the blades of the mower will not get closer than 30 cms from any border. it fails miserably to collect the grass and spews it all over. I bought one to cut a smaller area round the kids play toys/swings etc instead of dragging the petrol one round and its just frustrating. buy at your own peril. I think it just boils down to the fact that people want a hover mower. it's slower than a normal mower. even the instructions advise you to cut in straight lines and not sweeping about all over like the old adverts used to show.
and when you get anywhere near a path it will spew even more clippings about. even the power lever is hit and miss. best bit about it is the colour. stick a KTM sticker on it and you feel just that bit happier. arrggghhh....garbage. read the reviews....

I wanted a small lawnmower for a small garden.What do you recommend plz? I was going to buy a cheap hover mower like this but in two minds now.

Those cheap Strimmers are absolutely useless.Get clogged up immediately.. You'd be better off with shears.

Agree, ended up buying a 'proper' strimmer as this is no good. The line snaps every 10 seconds, is physically too small for me (i'm 5'11" and have to bend over to be able to reach down to the lawn). Would advise to only buy this if you think the mower itself is worth the price
