Someone told me a good tip is to book a night at the Hard Rock hotel. You get two days of Express passes included, which can be collected early morning on night of stay. Allows you to skip the lines, except Harry Potter rides, but does allow 1 hr early access to the Wizarding world before the place opens up. I'm going in July, got a room for £310 (inc quidco) for four, buying the express passes on their own would have cost about £500. (doesn't include entrance tickets, they are extra)
There is a cheaper hotel which gives the express passes, Royal Pacific, but is a longer walk to the park entrance. Would have been £40 cheaper than the Hard Rock which has better reviews.

I'd reccomend just bringing hand luggage, buy all your holiday clothing etc here in the outlet malls, much cheaper. buy a case here to take it all home so your only paying one way!
