Dyson DC50 Multi-floor is on offer at £189.99 in the Aldi special buy. Available online now, or in store on the 14th. Seems like a good price compared to other stores.

We've just had our old DC14 serviced so no new one for me. I would love it, but can't justify it. Thanks admin for adding the pic

What's peoples thoughts on Dyson vacuums these days. In the beginning the were the dogs but got to admit over last few years they've been cheap plastic poor performers. Bought the DC40 animal (Well ordered the DC25 animal but Argos gave me a DC40 animal instead) last year or so and returned it after 6 days what a load of cack.
Shocking product made out of cheap flimsy plastic, Power cable to short, Hose to short, It falls over and the suction is crap.
What's a very good Dyson these days ???

I've got the DC54 its the best vacuum I've ever had. I purchased it from the Dyson deal where you got the little portable Dc34 for free. Also with 5 years warranty included. Definitely worth it imo

The're ok unless you have pets, in which case get a powerful meile, knocks spots off a dyson...is my experience.

Do they take the money right away or do they take it at the time of dispatch?
Also.. do they deliver? or is it store pick up only?

I've not bought from Aldi special buys before but believe they deliver if you order online. No idea when the payment is taken I'm afraid. They should be in store as well on the 14th, but I'm guessing limited stock per store. Sorry not to be more help.

I bought the DC50 a while back now,
Big mistake-
The extendable part below the handle broke with just normal vacuuming (now held in place with velcro,
Pain in the **** to empty,
Filters are a pain to clean especially the small one in the top of the cyclone,
Huge piece of cheap plastic in my honest opinion,
do your research-these thing's aren't cheap.

Good price and heat added.
Had my DC40 over a year now and is the best vacuum I've owned.
Cant see how you can go wrong with 5 year warranty.

I have had a DC04 absolute for some twenty odd years which is still as good as the day I bought it. I bought a DC50 at a better price than this offer to replace it but was not impressed so sold the DC50 and still use my DC04.

Totally agree had one of the very first Dyson's and it was built like a brick sh**house. Very well engineered etc. But the newer models in my opinion are cheap flimsy plastic things & I would expect way way better for the price you have to pay
