Capturing precious photos and HD movies is effortless with this 16MP mini, family-friendly bridge camera. Simple, fun and creative, it has a big 30x zoom in a tiny body you can carry everywhere.
Heated. Not sure why it was starting out cold tbh. Seems a good deal to me.

Four year old tech with basic controls & no optical viewfinder....
Decent inage quality in decent lighting conditions & a nice zoom........but even as a Canon fanboy I'd give this a miss
If you still want one you can pick it up for £98.24 on Amazon

what was your recommendation for £100 over this?

Depends what you want......if you still want a bridge camera
For around £150 I'd choose the SonyDSC-H400 ....only has 720p video but a 20Mp sensor & 63x optical zoom
For £200 I'd choose the DSC-HX30 .....full 1080p HD video & 50x optical zoom
Anyone paying more than £200 I'd say look at going down the full SLR or even CSC route
