Kodi is a free, legal and opensource media player and doesn't give access to any content. I think you mean crappy illegal add ons not kodi.

Did they tell you to stop wasting their time, it's the internet and besides a civil matter?

Yep goes something like this.
Buys 1080p/4K TV, feeds it content with much less quality than VHS.
The amount of family and friends that do that and think it's cool is scary.
I aways buy physical media and sub to Netflix/Amazon Video as I want the best picture possible. It's like buying a 6TB hard-drive and only ever using 500mb, and knowing you will only use that amount before buying it....such a waste.
I've visited people's houses and watched films/tv shows that they have put on that look worse now than the 80's pirate video era.

I've been using the Mini MXII for three months and it's been very good, except for the noisy click of the remote. Three firmware updates since owning it. This has a better spec than the one I have. Highly recommended, go for it.

Specs looks great but something inside me tells me to hold out just a little while since it's so brand new with little reviews just to put my mind at ease.

^ you may be right but my thinking is if its not so good i could sell this a million times over
I can tweak these boxes to get them running sweet (kernel mods etc)
I have a crappy OTT M8s that runs as well as my friends Minix Neo U1

you don't need Netflix if you have kodi

Basically the same as the other deal for £26.50 apart from the gigabit Ethernet which you're unlikely to need even for 4k content.
These will keep getting cheaper as the S905 is about to be replaced with the S905X which has the proper DRM support needed by Netflix etc.

do you know when this is coming out?

I suppose the wait would be worth it with more reviews to back up the support. The S912 specs looks tasty but it's about the support. Think I'll stick around & wait.
