Good price considering its build quality. There are better aftermarket charger cables that are a bit more robust but they cost between £8-£13

Not that I'd pay £17 for a cable, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Apple will replace any damaged/broken official cables free of charge so could be worth it if you are particularly heavy handed plugging/unplugging the charger.
