I've been watching these dates for a while and this is the best deal that I have seen. The Euros are on June 10th - July 10th so good for watching the football in bars. Just watch England play Russia in London on the Saturday night then fly out Sunday.

Great price. Just popped in to say Santander look to be offering some current account members 8% cashback on visa debit purchases at Qatar (offer bottom right of the santander banking screen). Since this is direct to bank account, you'd be able to stack this in addition to the 2% currently at Quidco.

It's unwise to fight anyone as the outcome of the fight can't be predicted, it will be one of these though, so take your pick.
1. Fight and win and leave safely
2. Fight and lose and end up getting seriously killed
3. Fight and win and get put in prison
4. Fight and win and kill some one and end up in prison longer
5. Fight and lose and still end up in prison
I'm sure there's more examples.
Fights I've had include the following:
1. I technically won
2. I lost but sought revenge using a weapon
3. I won but other people ganged up on me later
4. I won but people still thought I was a dick****
5. I verbally had to win a fight
Fighting is not like in the movies and simple, it's complicated and even if you're a seriously good fighter you can easily come unstuck.
The problem with being human is that the primitive part of your brain takes over, which is 'my mum has been kicked in the head, I'm outnumbered but that has really annoyed me so I'm going to fight anyway.' The fight or flight part of the human brain the amygdala is designed to react much quicker than your rational brain the cerebellum, so you need a good deal of training to contain it, which hardly anyway does. Read The Chimp Paradox by Dr Steve Peters, you'll never control The Chimp 100% but it makes life easier if you can have a go at lease.

Bargain, especially with Qatar. Spend a few days in BK then maybe check out Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai for your fill of elephants and tigers. Then I'd head down to the islands, Phi Phi, Samui, Tao. If theres any spare days, maybe pop over to Ho Chi Minh to experience the madness!

Yea I was thinking similar plans for my trip, an awesome plan.
I booked my flight 2 weeks back with another airline as I was a bit impatient, but if i knew this Qatar deal was coming, especially with reasonable flight times and only 14 hours total each way, I could have saved £130 and definitely would have waited.

Just booked 29th May - 16th June earlier with Qatar for £332.50 would have gone for longer but that's only time I could get off work. So it's safe to say this deal isn't limited on dates.

If you have a spare few days, I can't explain how amazing Angkor Wat is! Return flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia) are around £80, then accommodation is single digit dollars. A must visit!

Thanks for the tips, I'll make a note of the places you have mentioned.

Yea well this kind of thing happens every Saturday night in the UK, probably one occurrence in every town in England.
So it's not just Thailand but I understand what you mean, there are other reports of trouble. So you need to make sure you say out of any conflict and particularly getting into a heated argument with the Thai's, they are not to be messed with, especially the women and can be very very sensitive.
