Pretty good deal I think for the unlimited mins and text and 6gb is plenty for the casual user.
Plus £10 quidco and 10% goes to a charity of your choice each month.
They use the EE network so very good coverage.
"Really cheap mobile phone deal... The People’s Operator which uses the EE network - unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 6GB of 3G data currently £12.95 and is on a rolling contract..."

There’s been a lot of changes at TPO – and we want you to know that you spoke and we have listened! So we would like to introduce you to our new SIM-Only Goodness Plan. At £12.49 per month for Unlimited mins, Unlimited texts and 6GB of data for, we couldn’t give you more goodness!
Ooooops we lied, because the goodness doesn’t stop there! As you may know 10% of your monthly spend goes to a charity of your choice and it doesn’t cost you a penny extra.
So whether you are a chatterbox, the internet is your best friend or you text up a storm grab yourself some goodness today!

if you read properly it says they pledge to give 10% of "their income" from you to a charity ...... it then gives you the option to choose one you like or support, which is imo fair enough as I prefer certain ones, just like most people. if you don't have opinion of where "their money/donation" should go, they donate it too their chosen ones. Hardly a dictatorship when you are being given an opportunity to have input and control over their donation , infact it's the very opposite of the definition of one! .......

Why do these MVNO's restrict to 3G when they use networks that have 4G? I'm paying EE £15 for 4Gb data and 500mins/Unlimited texts so this is clearly a better deal in terms of allowances.

they restrict because you simply get what you pay for. & not really when you compare to mine. i get 18GB data, unlimited mins & texts - £19.99 a month, its a retention deal for a 12 month sim only contract.

I needed a new phone for work and I'm going to use this in a cheap phone and in the car so it's perfect for me, I won't need 4g to use Google maps.

Can the cold voters please comment why they feel this is a bad deal, I guess unlimited calls and texts and a monthly donation to a charity is such a bad idea??

I have not voted, but I would never touch a deal which TELLS me I am giving money to charity - it should be my choice whether or not I give, just like ebay has an option to tick a box if you want to donate or not.
We are not living in a dictatorship (some people would argue that one with good reason perhaps), so I cannot stand being told that I am doing something when I was not asked in the first place.

Because the customer service and wait times are awful and they don't verify who you are when you call up to discuss an account.
And no 3G

Terrible customer service and lots of service outages/issues in my experience. Lasted a month with them.

Service is average, but they do keep their bundle costs low, hence I have been with them for about two years now. I went for this one when I saw it. Op, you need to grow a thicker skin I'm afraid. Cold voters will not always tell you, just get used to it.

Enjoyed their service and very good deals for over a year. Highly recommended and feel good factor about donating to charity without donating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND... Have some heat.
