I wanted a cat flap that only opened for my two cats, could be programed to close at dusk and open at dawn, having decided on the SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap I was going to buy it from Amazon for £75:49, I then spotted the same cat flap on Ocado for the same price. With £20 off (VOU3419130) my first order I have ended up paying just over £60 for the cat flap and a fivers worth of groceries as I had to spend £80 to qualify. The £20 discount code will no doubt expire soon but will probably be offered again very soon, I'll probably not order anything from Ocado again soon, hopefully my lack of spending with them will generate some more offers to tempt me!

Please note this cat flap can be programmed to let certain cats in and out and not others, useful if you've got several cats and want to keep one in due to injury etc

I got one of these amazing cat flaps and customer service is amazing. Cat flap wouldn't work in my door needed extended tunnel sent a new cat flap straight out. I didn't even have to return the other one its in my shed. No other cats come in house keeps everything out. Worth every penny.

JUST A WORD OF WARNING.

I was going to get this flap after a lot of research to eventually find it does not support some of the newer microchips (which my cat had).

Not sure if they have updated it yet, but it's worth sending them an EMAIL to make sure.

How many times a day do you go through it like?

Would totally recommend these. Excellent bit of kit to prevent unwelcome intruders. No issues at all since installation 18 months ago. Don't forget to stock up on the batteries though! :innocent:

Use low self-discharge rechargeables in them and ignore the pathetic flashing light. Just recharge every six months.

Haha, if you've had a regular cat flap and someone else's cat coming through it and weeing up your furniture you will understand the support for a microchip cat flap :smiley:
