I'm not buying these again after getting them for My Wii U, the fact there is not crossbuy or even discount if you have the Wii U versions is a joke.

Wish there was a discount for those who own it on Wii U, or some kind of cross-buy.

Genius from Nintendo, now you have to buy our 'new' console because its the only one that the 'old' games will run on!

I assume that's a mistake since half of £7.19 isn't £2.69
Also title could be misleading since its only half price if you buy a full price game

Not a mistake, Mario world is 2.69. The mistake is listing it as half price

Sorry for the miseading title. I have edited it. Is that better now?
Did you buy it and can confirm that price really is £2.69?

I assume, in this case, Nintendo realised that the order you bought them in would affect the final price (it would have been cheaper to buy SMW and get Earthbound half price than the other way round), so they lowered the offer price of SMW to make the two the same.

the deal has to be set this way as earthbound is more exspensive then the other proposed snes releases. so it has to be ordered in a way that weather you get earthbound or mario 1st, the second games discount price will add up to the same overall value. fot example earthbound is more exspesnive so without the adjustment in place it would always be better to buy it as the half priced game as half of £9 is gonna be a bigger saving then half of £7.19

Its so both ways it works out at £11.68 for both games no matter which way round you buy.
If you buy all 8 of these SNES games in this deal it works out at £44.02.
Which for 25 year old games, is still making Nintendo a **** load of money.

Got properly exited for this, then realised I have one of the last "old" 3DS's..

Cold because the the amount I'd have to spend upgrading to a 'new' 3DS for no apparent reason offsets the deal considerably ;p

Yeah. Cant see why the "old" 3DS would have trouble running SNES games.

Upgrading to the New 3DS had absolutely no relevance to the quality of this deal. If you've an old one that's your prerogative. It's a good deal.

Disappointed owning as I do SMW (Wii U) via the Virtual Console I cant simply add it to my New 3DS for 'free', but, count me in for Earthbound, ALTTP, Super Metroid, F-Zero, SMK and (perhaps) at least one of the DK Country games...
For those who claim Nintendo's library is lacking in some department, I'm finding it tricky to keep up with everything in my (growing) library.

Because Nintendo milk the hell out of their followers. I doubt I'll buy the NX, they are so far behind in the times compared to Sony and MS.
Edit: Why couldn't this be released on standard 3DS systems, seems like a scam to make people 'upgrade' to the n3DS.
