It's on at Richer Sounds for 384.99 with 6 years warranty (not on bulb of course) for VIP members (free membership)
I have the BenQ W1070, but when buying it was between that and the HD141X. Both are great projectors, and I would have gone for this if not for the great deal I got on the W1070 1 year and a half ago.
Enjoy

A Pringles lid. That's what I used when I had this projector last year.

Single chip DLP does have RBE yes
After nearly 2 years of using my projector I no longer notice it.
You can reduce RBE by doing the following: getting a neutral density "ND" filter lens and using it with your projector; getting a good screen - I'm using the Elitescreens 120" 1.1 gain screen and it's superb. RBE is minimal in my experience, and the low price more to get a home cinema experience more than outweighs something I rarely even notice (or can see when I'm really trying to see it).
YMMV - Some are more sensitive than others.

nope I have BenQ W1070 as mentioned in OP
but this is a great projector and I would have got the HD141X if I'd found a better price on that at time of purchase

I've had this since black Friday with an old basic screen. No noticeable rainbow effect for me. must be lucky.
Can anyone recommend a cheap lens cap for this?
Thanks

Very good projector I have one. Can be quite noisy but if in Eco mode it's ok. Also quite a bit of rainbowing but the picture quality is much better than previous models

I also own one of these and the rainbow effect is visible but I only notice it when flicking my eyes from the screen to a device in my lap. I don't notice it during moving content on screen.
