I've been looking for a DSLR and this deal looks good from Currys with a free case and extra battery. Quidco also have 10% this weekend for Nikon purchases from Reserve and Collect Currys purchases so possibly £27.90 cashback on this.

It doesn't mention VR in the info and the lens in the pic isn't VR, I'd go in store if you can and see for yourself, they may have used a stock pic.

this is not the vr kit. I asked in store and they stopped retailing the vr kit before xmas

Gutted my son bought this on wednesday and there was no bag with it from currys. Looked online and theres one in next town to us. Is it possible to return to currys and buy from another branch?

Easiest way to return the item would be to buy the camera and case from the Currys in the next town, return to your local Currys with Wednesday's invoice and return the unopened camera you just purchased.

Or see if John Lewis do the same offer, purchase from JL via a PM match with a free 2 year warranty. Ps return original to currys

Make sure they will accept the return first of all, as unless you bought online they have no obligation to accept a return unless faulty.

Honestly, the bag is just fine. I've owned it for over 6 months and it seems OK.
