Can't rate my 950XL highly enough. Had iPhone's and Android and personally find windows phone the nicest to use.

Well that's a bit harsh. Windows Mobile initially appeared to be a good platform, I've used a few Lumias in the past and found the tiled homescreen layout quite refreshing and having the full power of Windows in your hand was empowering. What is leading to the demise of the OS is Microsoft's lack of commitment to the platform from Day 1, now leading to Windows Mobile market share dropping to close to 1% of global. This lack of commitment was of course picked up by the Developer community from the start, hence while the App store has grown over the years many apps are either fake (just attempts to scam money off punters) or 3rd party apps designed without support from the parent platform making them clearly inferior to their iOS or Android counterparts.
It's a crying shame. Windows Mobile could have been a very viable 3rd alternative to the two big boys.

Agreed it's a much more modern operating system, only things that let it down are the amount of apps available but most of the popular ones are there.

got some "nearly" new offers from currys ebay going for around £299, open box and returned. nowt wrong with them just not some peoples cup of tea.
Been a windows phone lover since the Lumia 800 came out but i'm really struggling with the 950 - seems to be really buggy and often runs very slow. Not sure if I can recommend it to be honest!

hmm,new phone due in june,after seeing this,not sure now,was gonna go 950xl but now may stick with my 930 for a while longer,the new windows 10 update on it is superb,running like a dream! :smiley:

Mine is going on eBay this week after 3 months of ownership, found it way too buggy for my liking, had issues with answering calls, unlocking and random resets etc. It's a shame because I liked the phone and W10 in general
