logitech Z533 2.1 PC speakers, been looking to get these for a while but not seen them reduced anywhere (that I'd consider buying from) before now.
Normally retail for about 75 to 80
Here's the sales blurb (and yes you could use Chromecast audio with it) ...
Each speaker features a 2.5”, full-range speaker driver to deliver 60 W of sound, together creating impressive 120 W of sound for enhancing your music, movies or games. The front-facing subwoofer offers rich, dynamic bass that lets you feel every beat.
Controlling sound is easy thanks to the all-access control pod, which lets you control power, volume and bass. Additionally the pod features a 3.5 mm jack for connecting your smartphone, tablet or MP3 player or listening privately with your headphones.
A 3.5 mm jack input makes connecting your PC and games console quick and easy, while the RCA input makes the speakers compatible with your TV, DVD player and much more.

Brilliant! Saw these in white from the same retailer for £60 last week. Glad they put the black ones down to £60 too.
Can anyone comment on whether they wake on sensing an input? Would be great for the TV

These better than the old x210? Been looking at new ones as the volume wheel is dodgy and makes the sound crackle and stuff. There's some 5.1 logitechs for a tenner more on ebuyer, any help would be great

Depends what your after. Those cheap 5.1s are not going to be a patch on this for stereo sound

Nice! Bought these this morning before seeing this
Had the Z-4 predecessors and they've been amazing for me for 7 years so definitely would go again

How's the control pod working out for you?
Do you have to switch on with the dial, or will they switch on when you start pumping sound into them?
Thx in advance

Amazon sell this set with a BT adaptor included for about £70 (weirdly cheaper than they sell the standalone set)
