It is HDR, I have it.
the way we know is that before 'HDR' was standardized all companies put their own names on the tech, Samsung has 'Peak Illuminator Ultimate', Sony has ' X-Tended Dynamic Range', Visio has 'Dolby Vision' and LG has....... 'Ultra Luminance'
Please don't throw around comments if you don't know.
Do a google search for this TV model and you will get lots of information from many websites including AV forums, trusted reviews and even some explaining how HDR works like this one http://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/hdr-for-tvs-explained/
Again, I can confirm it has HDR as I own this TV set and can play HDR content without fault, all settings become locked to the HDR standard and the colour range and brightness is amzaing

pah, why buy this when i saw a boosh one at half the price with twice the pixles (8000K). it had red and blue ones. no greens, but greens are a marketing trick. the human eye can't detect green. that's why it used on snooker tables to not distract the players.

Own this and it is brilliant!
Came from a 51" Samsung 3D plasma and the 3D on this LG is so much better, the Amazon video app runs HDR and looks fantastic. Well worth the money if you are looking for an upgrade. Check out the AV forums guide for picture settings as 'out of the box' is dire

Cracking tv bought mine in Richersounds before xmas on a mispriced one off set at £949...
Best purchase in years... No buyers remorse at all
I can confirm set has LG's colour prime which when used states on screen that HDR is present ( only really tested with test downloaded content)
4K picture is superb
1080p is wonderful
Sd is a little lacking
Has Freeview HD and Satellite tuner with very limited epg (but still useful for basic channels including 4K Astra satellite feed)
Bargain at this price
I tried the 3D but wasn't bothered by doing more than testing it

Going off this post it seems ColourPrime equates to HDR...

Ordered this the other day from RS, but haven't had time to pick it up yet. Do they refund price differences in this kind of situation? Can anyone who owns one comment on gaming as I've read mixed reviews concerning lag and game mode?
